What Can I Wear To Las Vegas Clubs?
Most Las Vegas nightclubs maintain a firm dress code in 2025, whether you’re coming in with bottle service or arriving through a guest list. Fortunately, the expectations are fairly similar across venues. Women generally have more flexibility as long as their outfit looks intentional and nightlife-appropriate, while men usually face more specific rules that vary depending on the venue and even the door staff.
Although there are official guidelines, it’s important to remember that enforcement can be subjective—two people dressed almost identically may still get different responses at the entrance. Officially What Is Not Allowed
While you may be feeling confident that your Vegas attire will make the cut, the following items are almost always on the nightclub dress code banned list for club in Las Vegas:
- Shorts (OK for women)

- Loose Fitting or Baggy Jeans

- Hats (fedoras, cowboy hats and stylish headwear can be exceptions)

Can I Wear Jeans?
Yes. All nightclubs allow both men and women to wear jeans. We suggest not wearing bagging denim. Jeans can have rips and tears in them, but not an excessive amount of rips.
Are Collared Shirts Required?
Collared shirts and button up shirts are not officially required. It is good to know that they are always accepted on the dress code.
Are T-Shirts Allowed?
T-shirts are most definitely a gray area. While it is more common to see these shirts in the club environment, it will always be up to the door man whether it is allowed or not. You could always pair the shirt with a jacket or sport coat.

Bags can be a bit tricky, but women are generally allowed to bring purses into nightclubs as long as they pass a security check. For men, crossbody bags almost always cause problems, so it’s better to leave them behind to avoid being turned away at the entrance.At pool parties, both men and women can bring bags, though they’ll be thoroughly searched. However, if you’re coming in through general admission or a guest list, expect to be required to store your bag in a locker, which usually comes with an added cost.
Are Hats Allowed?
If you plan on wearing a hat know there may be some restrictions or items not allowed. Certain venues will allow more stylish options—like rimmed hats or berets—but most will turn you away if you arrive in a standard baseball cap, snapback, or beanie. Cowboy hats are allowed.
What Is Suggested For Women?
Girls can almost get away with anything they want when it comes to the dress code. That being said we have seen instances where flip flop sandals were looked down upon or not allowed. Women can wear shorts. A cute or sexy dress that fits your body type with a nice set of heels will always work.
